A sartorial sight of lace, sparkle, tulle, trains and elegance amused all at New York City Ballet’s Gala. New York City Ballet’s Gala is an annual festival for spring fashion life. Luxurious red carpet event was dusty old ballet that excited everyone as the curtain rose. The hot subject of this great event was, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ by Bertolt Brecht and Lynne Taylor Corbett’s debut of Kurt Weill. The event was about Whelan dances by Wendy Whelan, LuPone sings by Patti LuPone and vice such as lust, gluttony, greed and envy.
Celebs attending this red carpet event include Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Peter Martins, Harry Kargman, Arie Kopelman, Coco Kopelman, Jill Kargman, Brooke Shields, Carmen Dell’Orefice, Vanessa Williams, Victor Garber, Gabe Saporta, Erin Fetherston, Arden Wohl and Laura Benanti.
It was a fantastic Ballet Gala of Vienne Waltzes, LuPone, Whelan dances and dining.
